Agavaske. A new website for a cleaning business in Norway

The goal was a new website for a cleaning business in the Stavanger region. It had to lead the client to a single decision: asking for a price by form, SMS or phone.

Client

Agavaske

Services

Web design, Web development, Analytics & tracking

Date

2026

Live site

agavaske.no
The Agavaske homepage in a browser window: the headline “Vaskehjelp og flyttevask i Stavanger-området” beside an illustrated kitchen looking out over a Norwegian town.

The premise

The old website looked good but brought no results. The new one had to lead the client to a single decision: asking for a price.

Project summary

Agavaske is a one-person cleaning business working in Stavanger, Sandnes and Sola. The client came to me wanting to refresh how she looks online, because the old website looked good but brought no results. She wanted clients to get in touch and to be visible in her region.

The two services on the homepage, flyttevask and regular cleaning, as photo cards under the heading “Dette kan jeg hjelpe deg med”.

The problem

When you book a cleaner, you let a stranger into your home. With flyttevask (move-out cleaning) you can also lose your deposit if the landlord doesn't accept the result.

Big companies send different people every time. At Agavaske it's always Agnieszka. I had to show that advantage without photos of her and without before-and-after shots.

The “Det er alltid meg som kommer” section: an illustration of house keys on a hook beside Agnieszka's signature, with the business facts below.
“Vasket for å bli godkjent” on the flyttevask page: the landlord's inspection explained beside a photo of a clean floor.

The business goal

Every page had to lead to a price enquiry. So I made contact by form, SMS and phone the main action across the whole site.

The contact page: the phone number on the left and a short price enquiry form on the right.
The flyttevask card on the homepage: a dark green panel listing what is included, with a button asking for a price.

What I built

I built the whole site on the fact that the client is choosing a specific person. I wrote it in the first person, in Agnieszka's voice, and then prepared:

  • separate pages for flyttevask and vaskehjelp (regular home cleaning)
  • Stavanger, Sandnes and Sola pages with their own copy and neighbourhood names
  • two language versions of the website, Norwegian and English
  • a blog that now has 7 articles
  • tracking for the form, SMS messages, phone calls and 12 buttons that lead to contact
The flyttevask page: a photo hero with a price enquiry card beside the headline.
The vaskehjelp page: a photo hero with a price enquiry card beside the headline.
The Stavanger page: its own headline, a map with the city highlighted and the neighbourhoods served.
The areas section on the homepage: Stavanger, Sola and Sandnes as a list beside an illustrated map.

After launch I checked 153 search phrases and wrote 2 more articles based on them.

The result

The first enquiry came within a few days of launch.
